kindly asking if it is possible to update restic from 0.13.1 in the EPEL-9 repo (released Apr 2022) to a more recent version.
There doesn't seem to have been any backward incompatible change from that version the latest 0.16.2, but has very useful features such as backup compression and many performance fixes.
Looks like the package is due for a rebuild because of three open CVEs, not sure if the rebuilds imply version upgrades. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?component=restic&product=Fedora%20EPEL
