It was rust-exa being retired and rust-eza being added, which didn't happen in the same release. It's up to the relevant package maintainers (Fabio and the Rust SIG) to decide if they want to retire rust-exa from EPEL 9 and/or add rust-eza to EPEL 9. If retirement of rust-exa is the chosen route, an unmaintained upstream can certainly be viewed as the underlying reason why a maintainer would have "no desire" to keep maintaining the package in EPEL. https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy-retirement/#process_no_time_or_desire Here is a general guide for requesting packages in EPEL (tldr; file a bugzilla). https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-package-request/ -- Carl George _______________________________________________ epel-devel mailing list -- epel-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to epel-devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/epel-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
