A friend of mine is rebuilding an EPEL package (namely llvm9.0) from source for CentOS 7 on aarch64. The aarch64 build is not in the EPEL repo, probably because RHEL7 for aarch64 is out of support.

WIth an unmodified .spec file, he gets a message that the  %ldconfig_scriptlets macro is unknown, or else he gets it built but not linked and so not running. He had to add "%post -p /sbin/ldconfig" and rebuild.

To clarify, I just realized that he does yum-builddep and then rpmbuild --rebuild. He does not use mock. But I don't know if this can affect the issue.
