It was missing gom-devel and telepathy-glib-devel I have no idea why it want's telepathy-glib-devel, but telepathy-glib looks like it should build in EPEL8. gom-devel will be harder. gom is in RHEL8, but gom-devel is one of those "missing devel" packages. If it already isn't in an earlier EPEL version (which gnome-shell-extension-pomodoro isn't) then you need to open it in Fedora / Fedora instead of Fedora / EPEL When you open the bug, you need to remember that just because someone maintains a package, doesn't mean they want to maintain it in EPEL also..
