A small holiday present :)

The python36 package is now available through the EPEL 7 repositories [0].

You can provide feedback at the bodhi update.

Some notes:
The python34 package is still the main python3 package in EPEL, which still provides the python3 binary.

Packages can be built with it, by utilizing the %python3_other_pkgversion, e.g. BuildRequires: python%{python3_other_pkgversion}-devel

The interpreter can be invoked within the SPEC file, by using the %__python3_other macro, e.g. for invoking the tests at the %check section: %{__python3_other} setup.py test

After a small timeframe (not determined how long yet), the macros will change and python36 will be the main python3 in EPEL.
