EPEL-ANNOUNCE OwnCloud retired in EPEL6

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

As per the previous notices on the impending EOL OwnCloud is now retired in EPEL6.

This is due to 7.0.x becoming EOL upstream and 8.0.x requiring a minimum of PHP 5.4, which is not in EL6 base.

If you are using OwnCloud on EL6 please migrate your installation to the upstream packages that use SCL for the more recent PHP version or alternatively on to EL7 which will continue to receive updates in EPEL.

Please note that if upgrading from 7.0.x to a newer version it's required to move one major release at a time...

7.0 -> 8.0 -> 8.1 -> 8.2 -> 9.0

Regards,

James
