I have some HP DL360s with the Broadcom NIC in them, HP/Compaq model NC7781. I am running Kernel 2.4.7-10enterprise, and the latest HP bcm5700 driver which is 2.2.30 written by Michael Chan. The cards do not always come up after a reboot. Sometimes I have to do a ifdown the intercace, rmnod bcm5700 and then inmod5700, ifup eth0, After that everything is fine. Any ideas?
