Proxy Kickstart Option in RHEL 5

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello Guys,

I haven't been able to find a way to do a kickstart installation behind a proxy and i have a Strategic Customer asking me for this everyday.

On RHEL 6 i've found out that this is possible using:

--proxy=[protocol://][username[:password]@]host[:port]

However, this option would not work in RHEL 5. Can we confirm that this is officially not supported in RHEL 5 or is there a different way to do it?

Thanks your the help.

Best,
Jorge Pérez Vergara
