According to yum provides */newt.h, newt.h comes from newt-devel.

 

I’ve tried using an Anaconda to install a different version of the OS from the one it was designed for.  It’s really not a good.  Too many things depend on specific packages and versions.  If you want to rebuild an installer for RHES 6, you should start with the RHES 6 source RPM of Anaconda from the release you want.  If you want 6.2, you’ll have to use the 6.2 SRPM.

But I've got a new build error, newt.h not found( So, it is too much erroros...
So, is it possible to build anaconda of fedora core, and create a install DVD of RHES 6 with fedora's anaconda inside?

It's not true that all the time configure or spec checks for package, it can be any binary or file I get this lot time while building packages
