Patch 1 is a corrected version of a recent patch to check metadata format for md arrays being used as bootloader stage2 devices. Patch 2 converts to using ext4 for all ext filesystems. This will eliminate most of the "scanned format (ext3) differs from fstab" errors from users mounting ext[23] as ext4. Patch 3 makes more robust the method for updating the partedPartition attribute after committing a new partition to disk.
