What exactly is that part of the dialog supposed to do, anyway? I always
have to select just one device for partitions I'm making and I'm curious
where you would select more than one, and it works as intended? I assume
it's intended for things like mds and so on?

A typical install I do (in which I always do manual partitioning, except
when testing defaults) will involve making a 1GB /boot partition, then
creating two RAID physical volumes and combine them into an LVM physical
volume on a RAID1 device. I can't recall exactly, but this dialog
doesn't seem to do what I want making those.

Jon.
