If you want btrfs you need also /boot as it is not currently possible to boot from btrfs. Also there is no option to do custom layout from text mode anaconda, there is an explicit comment from anaconda developers the bug I reported. Text mode anaconda forces default and that wants to make LVM volume and it fails on 2GB SDD drive :( Have you found out a way to use btrfs + compression on your asus eee?
