Hi,
We have encountered an install problem while installing linux with
client and server in the different
subnet. It seems that using " ip=xx.xx.xx.xx" in command line doesn't
use the static ip. This issue only happens in EL4 and is not seem in EL5.
I have checked the bugzilla, it seems this is a know issue in fedora.

It seems anaconda in EL5 have included this fix.
I'm wonderring is there any plan to backport this fix in EL4?
