Once you realize that that is what is going on. It took me a while to figure out what was going on when the floppy drive stopped showing up. This is not a nice thing to do for Fedora users even if it makes sense for <removed> users. I needed it for updating bios' a few months ago. I also have some old laptops where passing data with floppies is easier than trying to get the network started on them. They run rhl 6.2, but the systems I want to copy to run Fedora. Of course now I know what to do, so it's not that big of a deal for me any more. But I think this is going to be confusing to at least some people in Fedora's target audience.
