Introducing a proper syslog daemon allows us to remove the syslogd stub we have.

Hi,

I am going to submit this after my syslog change makes it to the branch. The benefits are two:
- a command stub gets removed
- backend logging is a bit more consolidated and this part will be 'forwardable' to a remote server, something that is not possible now.

Note that due to a bug in rsyslogd it currently won't work with forwarding (when tcp forwarding is on then rsyslogd sigsegvs when being HUPed). I am chasing the maintainer to fix this (he is sitting 20 meters away from me).

Ales
