Would it be possible for you to also move all the logging import and setup to after setupPythonUpdates is called? Right now you can have an updated anaconda_log.py but when we switch to having anaconda in python's site-packages directory, this is no longer going to work.
Yes, I think it should be OK. I looked and we are lucky that there's no logging happening between the two places. I will do it as a separate patch if it's OK.
