Wasn't the plan to make sure anything committed to the RHEL-6 branch also went to the master branch and in time retire the RHEL-6 branch and make a new RHEL-6 branch out of the master one ? In that case it seems like a good idea keep the RHEL specific bits in dist-cvs for now until we really do a final RHEL-6 branch (based on master with all the UI changes bits, proxy support, etc. in).
