We've already got this string from installclasses/rhel.py. > 2) If the default is a minimal, but clicking next has desktop selected, > it's a bit of dissonance. The default is the default, which is to say it's what's checked in the task list. It seems like the biggest problem here is what the text at the top of the page says. Perhaps that needs work. > 3) It does seem to go against the current philosophy of 'picking the > defaults gets you something reasonable for the end user.' Yeah, kind of. However you would have to manually uncheck the "General Internet Usage" box to get into an unreasonable config and then you're doing something besides accepting the defaults. Actually it's even worse than that - you'd also have to uncheck Office/Productivity since that group's going to pull in most of the base crud as well. I don't really like this, but a variety of people are pushing for a minimal install option, and it seems like just throwing in another (default selected) task is the best way that keeps our existing UI. I'm definitely not interested in moving back to the old Minimal vs. Everything vs. Desktop vs. Customize screen. - Chris _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list
