Suggested enhancement

Please excuse me if this results in a repeat.  After sending the first
time to anaconda-devel-list-request I realized that was not the proper address.


As packages are installed, the screen shows the package name along with a brief (one line) summary of what the package does. I don't remember any single one exactly, but for example the summary for vim might be "a vi-like editor". This is useful information for newcomers. (I have been using linux for years, but must confess that I only use a few things in it - the entirety of any distro is pretty much a mystery to me). Unfortunately the information is fleeting, and sometimes flees before one can read the screen! Couldn't the summary be appended to each line in /root/install-log ? This could be a useful reference for newcomers looking for things of interest to investigate.

Alternatively, is there a way to extract such a list in printable form from the cds without going through an install ?
