No, this was a RHEL-5 ism, now a days EFI uses the default paths for the
initrd.

We still use /boot/efi on ia64.  Only x86(/x86_64) EFI uses /boot at this point


Oh, darn. Well the kernel spec currently always writes initrd-generic to /boot, but
that can be fixed easily. I wonder though, is there any reason why we are still
doing this ? Why not put things under /boot, just like we do with other EFI archs ?
