I trace the source code on anaconda-11.4.1.62

 

In Driverdisk.c, the function “loadDriverDisk”.

    It don’t seem zcat modules.cgz to the default modules directory.

    Or don’t let modprobe to known this Driver Disk.

 

In modules.c, the function “doLoadModule”

    It do execv("/sbin/modprobe", argv)- argv[0] is module name. But the default modules directory does not contain the modules of a Driver Disk.

    So FATAL: Modules %s not found.
