Hello list. The problem is when we compare dm tables comming from device-mapper with tables comming from dmraid. When the raid set is a mirror type there is a possibility of considering the two tables to be different when in reality they are not. This is due to device order in the table string. Previously we hardcoded the possition of the device in the string, but this wont work as the table string has some otpional argument that might be present. I have tested with raid10 on a running system and it seems to work fine. IMO this way of comparing is more general and, therefore, better. Review greatly appreciated.
