I just tested with a modified /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
file on the system I'm upgrading, and also upgrading via a remote repo.
We can successfully bring up the network in gui to get repodata, and
once the upgrade was done, the modified ifcfg-eth0 from the system being
upgraded was not overwritten, so I think we're good here.
