I'm trying to install Fedora 7 via network. loader crashes on some machines. I've added details to bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462175. I got the latest anaconda sources from git repo and built the new loader on Fedora 9 (my kickstart server) and copied the loader into the initrd.img and booted. When loader was executed by init, it just didn't do anything. Everything was unmounted and the installation terminated. I tried using Fedora 9's vmlinuz and initrd.img instead. It booted fine and loader didn't crash. But in the next step it said "The Fedora installation tree in that directory does not seem to match your boot media." Then I copied stage2.img also from Fedora 9. Installation completed, but it was broken after reboot. Please help me use the latest anaconda loader(assuming it has the fix for my problem) to install Fedora 7. Any help is greatly appreciated. -- Vinay Y S _______________________________________________ Anaconda-devel-list mailing list Anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list
