In that case, why don't we just disable this functionality all together.
Because that involves either:
(1) Somehow knowing what repos count as updates (sure they may say
"updates" in the repo names/URLs now, but I don't trust much of anything
in this area to stay constant), or
If we started being able to tag repos inside the .repo file in
quasi-meaningful ways would that be a workable solution to filter in
for F11?
