Imagine trying to search 500 SAN partitions for driver updates.

We look good at this point because storage drivers are not yet loaded.
The only driver that is loaded is the usb-storage driver and the ide
disk driver.

Right, but what good does embedded usb-storage with drivers do you for
the next OS release a few months later?
<sandeep>
Dell baselines do not align with redhat updates. Redhat releases updates
every 6 months But Dell baselines on an OS every 1 and half ot 2 years
Eg, rhel 4.0 and rhel 4.5. In the interim we also get the drivers
updated in the next available update.
