Is it possible to use anaconda from RHEL 3 to install RHEL 5? I have a pxe
server with multiple distributions and I am currently using genhdlist and
pkgorder to generated a customized package list for the installation using
customized kickstart files.
Here is what I am doing on RHEL 3 and 4 to generate the package list:
/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/genhdlist
/var/os/redhat/linux/rhel-4-es/en/os/i386-stock
/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/pkgorder
/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/genhdlist --fileorder
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
