new vmlinuz and initrd and old Fedora Install

I am trying to use the vmlinuz and initrd from FC5 to install FC2.

I am using PXE and the reason to go with the newer vmlinuz and initrd is to 
get
all the driver support that I need.

However, the install stop with "that directory does not contain a Fedora 
Core
installation tree".

Is there an easy way to circumvent?
