Hi -
Where can further documentation be found on how yum is used in this
manner? Is this functionality exclusive to FC5t3? Can I now buy the
developers a case of beer for their efforts?
Are the FC5 tests covered by the GPL? If so, shouldn't there be a build
script or something very similar either in the distributed ISO or,
maybe, with the source packages?
See COPYING section 3., para 2 (assuming a), b) and c) are part of para 1)
Note the GPL doesn't seem to me atm to cover collations well, and some
interpretation's needed. The preferred form for making modifications is
actually the ISO (or its contents) plus "plus the scripts used to
control compilation and installation of the executable." (or create a
modified ISO).
Presumably someone actually has a shell script someplace, so it
shouldn't be hard to make it copy itself into the ISO at some
appropriate location.
