buildinstall Fedora Core 3 - Unknown file type (unallocated) error

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hallo,

 when I run buildinstall I've got this error:
<error>
Unknown file type (unallocated) /RH-FC3-tree/i386/images/isopath/.. -
ignoring and continuing
</error>

I suppose it is emmited by mk-images.* scripts. In fact, I've seen this
error twice.

I am not sure whether it has something with the error above, but the
modified distro cannot boot then from CD. And as it should be stranger,
the DVD iso built from the same tree boots well. The command for
creating ISO image is:

<command>
mkisofs -A FC3-updated -V RHL-FC3-20050203 -J -r -v -T -x ./lost+found
-b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot
-boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -o
/RH-FC3-tree/PROLinux-FC3-disc1.iso /RH-FC3-tree/i386-disc1
</command>

Question(s):

1. What is going wrong? .../images/isopath is created by mk-images.*
scripts, isn't it?

2. if I created isopath directory myself, the error has appeared only
one times ... So does it look like a bug in buildinstall subscripts?

3. has anything changed in last two months? I am using fully updated FC3
distro.

Thanks for your help, z.p.
