Sir,
 I have tried installing it in two different computers with the assurance that the hard drives of both computers are working. But still thesame problem appears.
 Thank you.

Jerry, sorry I couldn't get back to your question sooner. In the future, you'd want to reply to the list too. Someone else may be able to help.

Anyhow, I googled on this part of the error message with quotes "lvcreate failed for %s". I found only four links. Two are copied below. What kind of platform are you trying to run this on? The buzilla link concerns 64 bit platforms possibly being a factor with this message. The other link is based on a VMWare install. If you are running your customized installer on VMWare, then try it on a PC that is not using it. If you have created your install on a VMWare machine, then try the build process on one without, if you are able to do so. Finally, there might have been a failure during the build process. It could even be a bad CD. Try performing a media check. Here are the links.

I hope this gives you a few more ideas.

Greg

Respectfully yours,

Sir/Madame:
Good Afternoon!!
Please help me on the problem I'm stuck into right now, I'm customizing the Fedora Core 3 installer and was able to customized most of it. But at a point where the packages are to be installed this error occurs on my monitor:

Tracebak (most recent call last);

<snip>

File "/usr/src/build/475969-i386/install//usr/lib/anaconda/fsset.py"  , line 2051, in setupDevice
  raise SystemError, "lvcreate failed for %s" %(self.name,)

SystemError: lvcreate failed for LogVol00

So is your hard disk ok? The Logical Volume Manager, LVM cannot create your install location on your hard drive. If your hard drive is ok, then you may want to look here for why your customization failed.

Greg
