Hi Eytan Carmiel, What I did to run genhdlist is as follows. : I created a directory /home/fedora/i386 and copied all the three CDs to that directory. >From there I changed the base directory name to 'Kairali'. So as my directory structure was something lke this: /home/fedora/i386/Kairali/RPMS/*.rpm and then I executed genhdlist as follows : /usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/genhdlist --withnumbers --productpath=Kairali /home/fedora/i386/ There was no errors and this worked fine for me. I think you have missed the complete path when specifying the installtree. compare and double check your commands. regards Manilal ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eytan Carmiel" <eytan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Running genhdlist Date: Sun, 05 Dec 2004 20:52:54 +0200 > > Hi, > > I am trying to run genhdlist. > The RPMS are under MyCD/Fedora/RPMS. > The genhdlist is activated as follows: > > /usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/genhdlist --withnumbers \ > --productpath Fedora MyCD > > I get the follwoing Error: > error opening directory MyCD/Fedora/RPMS: No such file or directory. > > But, as I have mentioned the directory MyCD/Fedora/RPMS exists !!!. > > Eytan Carmiel > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Anaconda-devel-list mailing list > Anaconda-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/anaconda-devel-list -- ______________________________________________ Check out the latest SMS services @ http://www.linuxmail.org This allows you to send and receive SMS through your mailbox.
