hi all,
i am making my customized version of linux 7.3 and have stuck in the
follwing error while testing the rpm database.
What i did exactly was:
mkdir /tmp/testdb
rpm --initdb --dbpath /tmp/testdb
rpm --test --dbpath /tmp/testdb -Uvh *.rpm
now i shall give u a snapshot of the error(s) that occured:

error: cannot open Name index using db3 -No such file or directory(2)
error: cannot open Conflictname index using db3 -No such file or
directory(2)
error: cannot open Providename index using db3 -No such file or directory(2)
Preparing..... error: cannot open Basename index
using db3 -No such file or directory(2)

installing *******
******
******
blah blah blah

Can anyone guide me as to what the error really is and how can i resolve
this error i am getting.
