Hello,
I found the following document in the net and I followed the same
to customize Anaconda (Redhat(9.0) Installer).
http://rau.homedns.org/twiki/bin/view/Anaconda/CustomizingAnaconda
But I din't understand the sub section - 8 in section-4 i.e.,
Customizing Anaconda.
that is
8. Copy newly rebuilt Anaconda RPMS to build tree
in this I dint find rpmbuild directory in $HOME (i.e., in /root).
I'm not sure that we are looking at the same document ... Maybe you
found some of the older pages in the twiki environment by error (eg.
depreciated link left in page). 'Copy newly rebuilt rpms to build tree'
means that you need to copy the rpms that you just built (in Step IV -
#6) to the 'build environment that you set up in Step III - #2.
And I din't find that in section-3 also
section-3 is Preparing the Build Environment.
and what is this sudo rpm.
I really think you must be linking to some old twiki pages ... because
when I search this page -
http://rau.homedns.org/twiki/bin/view/Anaconda/PreparingTheBuildEnvironment
I don't find any mention of sudo at all. At first we considered using
sudo but that idea was ditched and we decided to just build as root :)
Your co-operation will be highly appreciated.
I am not really sure how you are browsing old depreciated pages in the
twiki but to be safe - start from here ...
http://rau.homedns.org/twiki/bin/view/Anaconda/AnacondaDocumentationProject
and only click the 'heading' links from that page to get to other pages.
I am pretty sure that those links will keep you on the current twiki :\
Post again if you are still having problems ...
