I wanted to drop everyone a note, and let people know that when building a custom distro based on RHEL3 AMD64, you will now need the ia32e kernel. This is new to the anaconda of update 2. The x86_64 kernel is no longer used for building the boot.iso and pxe images. This is from a change in mk-images: if [ "$BUILDARCH" = "ppc" -o "$BUILDARCH" = "ppc64" ]; then arches="ppc64pseries ppc64iseries" else if [ "$BUILDARCH" = "x86_64" ]; then arches="ia32e" else arches="$BUILDARCH" fi So the moral is "don't forget to include the ia32e kernel as Joshua did" :-) -- Joshua Jensen <jjensen@xxxxxxxxx> Work: 919 392 1488 Mobile: 919 454 9679 Fax: 919 392 7377 Pager: 866 264 2691 Epage: jjensen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx IBM Linux Architect - RHCE, RHCT, etc "If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?"
