can't do an ISO-based NFS install for FC2-t3

(i posted something about this to the FC test list earlier, but
i figured this was probably the more appropriate place. sorry if
you get to see this twice.)

for the first time in a while, i tried to do an NFS install from
a server that had an NFS-exported directory containing the four
FC2-t3 ISO images (all md5sum-verified.)

starting my install with CD 1, i used

  boot: linux askmethod

selected "NFS image", picked "DHCP" for the new install host, and supplied
the IP address of the server and the directory containing the ISO images,
at which point i got the error:

"The Fedora Core installation tree in that directory does not seem
   to match your boot media."

it's all FC2-t3, so i'm not sure what i should be concluding from this.
any hints? i'm assuming that this message means that the network is
fine, and that the installer reached the server, examined the directory
and only then decided it didn't like what it saw.
