Try starting the install at the syslinux prompt with : linux text
You may be having a problem with the xServer..
You could also do : linux vnc
and connect a remote vnc client to the IP you assign the server and finish
the installation that way.

Subject: redhat ppc installation failed while decompressing
Hello all,
I got problems while I am installing Red Hat
Enterprise Linux/ppc AS 3 (Taroon) on a AmigaOne
system.
Following are outputs from consoles. The problem
happens after Formatting filesystems, transferring
install image to hard drive, and preparing RPM
packages.
Please give me some ideas about what causes the
problem and how to avoid this.
