Re: splittree.py public key error

Thanks for the info Forrest.
Has this changed since splittree replaced splitdistro? I had the same third party rpms for RH9, and I was able to run splitdistro.

I'm still getting the same error message, even after removing the two offending RPMS.
rpm.error: public key not trusted

I'm rebuilding RHEL3.

Install GPG key from the third party that you downloaded the rpms, or
rebuild them from source and sign it yourself.

The perl-XML-Simple came from Axel Thimm:

The RealPlayer came from Rex Dieter, although I cannot seem to find his
GPG key anywhere.

I guess I have a few rpms that are thirdparty. Is there a workaround besides removing them?

Try importing the Red Hat GPG key:

rpm --import /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY

Then check all of your rpm files:

rpm -K /vault/WS3_RC2_BUILD/i386/RedHat/RPMS/*.rpm | grep "NOT OK"
