well just in case we're not talking about the same "generation",
here is the way to follow:
- set the environnement
- rebuild anaconda
<------ since here environnement doesn't affect the process*
- install the newly built anaconda rpm 
- copy this anaconda rpm in your "isotree"
- run genhdlist on your "isotree"
- run buildinstall on your "isotree"


* not talking about $PYTHONPATH of course.
