which anaconda source to modify

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I am trying to re-design or customise rh 9. My goal at this stage is to

1. re-design the anaconda source so that i could wipe out the redhat logos and texts while installating
2. changing the test media or wipe it out from the custom distro.
3. i would also like to add a few screens to the anaconda and custom colors to the default red and black.

which source should i use . Like in the second cd : i have

1. anaconda , anaconda-runtime, anaconda-help and anaconda docs
again there are.src.rpm files in cd4 ,

I found all the materials like images, html files and anaconda .py files in second cd . should i use that for modification .

could someone please guide, which should i use of the above two .

Regards,
Saurav

Take a look at http://syslinux.zytor.com/iso.php

Here you find how to use isolinux to create a bootable cdrom.
