Here goes: Install/Config/Release Engineer Location: United States, California, Palo Alto Description: This engineer will assist in creating the installation and configuration of a Linux-like OS distribution. Most of the coding will be in Perl and Python. Should have very good familiarity with Linux administration and configuration. Will be responsible for releases of new OS versions, driver updates, compiling and building RPM's, etc. Required skills:You should be very experienced in Perl, Python, and Linux administration. Please have code samples prepared. BS in computer science or equivalent. Desired skills: If you have built your own Linux distribution or Linux rescue disk, that would be the type of experience which would be very relevant. C and C++ a big plus.
