Import Error

I was tying to figure out how the anaconda installer works.
I was executing the isys.py script under the isys subdirectory
using this command.

    python isys.py

and i get this error.
    File "isys.py", line 19, in ?
        import isys
    ImportError: No module named _isys

when i look at the source code there is a line that says
       import _isys

when i search for _isys there is no file or
directory with that name. are the modules in _isys
system generated?

how do i fix this so that i can run "python isys.py"
with no errors.
