Re: Roll my own distro with RH8 or 9?

Yes, I've read this entire document and that's why I proposed my
thoughts on how to rebuild a distribution. Has anyone rolled their own
distribution based on RH 8 or 9 building comps.xml on their own?

I need to be able to build comps.xml from scratch. I already have a
perl script that does this for distros based on 6.X and 7.X. I need
help on the best way to augment this script with XML-writing ability.
I'm not asking for help with XML; I'm asking if the ideas I listed are
the proper way to roll a RH 8 or 9 distro.

Thank you.
