...which is exactly why the RULE project (**) was started, and why the
very first thing to do was to hack anaconda to work in (much) less
than 32 MB of RAM. Kudos once more to Michael Fratoni for actually
doing it, and, IIRC his comments, an anaconda book, or at least much
more (current) online docs about its internals would have helped a
lot.
