I have recompiled mplayer and other multimedia apps for RH8 and made new RPMs for it, so it has as many codecs as possible. I've included (not full list): a52dec, avifile, cmt, fame, icecast, ladspa, lame, libdv, libsndfile, libxine, mad, normalize, sweep, swh-plugins, tdb, xine, xmms. This is all part of our BLAG GNU/Linux distribution. I have also written an email to someone explaining how to role a distro with rh8 as the base. It's in rough form, but I put a copy of it on the 'net. Contributions welcome. If you want to check out BLAG, see the comps.xml that it currently uses, download some of the RPMs, see: http://www.blagblagblag.org/ Ciao, -Jeff
