If you don't have another box to do it on, then do it on your own workstation... search for "user mode linux" at google and follow the links (home page is http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/). UML will allow you to run a virtual (linux) computer within your own (very cool). I've never used it myself, but it should be very useful for crash-testing customised installers in a protected environment. Cheers Tony
