Recording not working on Lenovo ThinkPad E540 (Audio device: Intel Corporation Atom Processor Z36xxx/Z37xxx Series High Definition Audio Controller)

Hello all,

I'm trying to help a colleague that have Lenovo ThinkPad E540 to be able to record sound from his sound card Debian 8 "Jessie" with Linux Kernel 4.9.

I'm a newbie in sound configuration so I don't know which information I should give you.

The output of "cat /proc/asound/cards" is :
 0 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH
HDA Intel PCH at 0xd0810000 irq 107

When I use arecord I can hear my voice but when I'm trying for example from Mumble I can't hear my voice. When I'm trying Alsa from PulseAudio it doesn't work at all.

What can I do?

Best regards.
