I am not sure, I can not find such certain information about it on the internet. But when I run: find /dev/snd -type l -iname "*usb*" -exec readlink -f "{}" \; I get: /dev/snd/controlC2 /dev/snd/controlC2 Which gives me a bit of hope. Is there a way I could find if the device has or doesn't have such hardware volume control from? The problem is that the DAC sounds a bit quiet on my headphones. Although it plays really well.
