Kernel config for specific cards

Hi,

I have an E-mu 0202 with distorted playback under the default snd_usb_audio module on a sunxi kernel.
So far no reply.
According to the old instructions you have to specify --with-cards=emu10k1 when configuring the driver. I assume this builds an additional kernel module needed for this card.

Problem is, where can I specify the command line for the driver build in the kernel scripts?

The other option I guess would be to download and install the last standalone driver version (1.0.25), but as mentioned in the post the script needs some missing include_version.h.
Besides the firmware, would there be additional requirements for the first route?
