Hello,

I would like to share my experience and I would be happy to have a comment.

I recently change my asound.conf for my embedded application adding a
softvol control.

Everything works well but today after few time playing/stopping (with
SIGTERM/SIGKILL) following behaviour appears :

aplay -D hw:0,0 file_mono.wav => set_params:1239: Channels count non
available
aplay -D hw:0,0 file_stereo.wav => playing OK

aplay -D dmix file_mono.wav => set_params:1239: Channels count non available
aplay -D dmix file_stereo.wav => Warning: rate is not accurate
(requested = 22050Hz, got = 48000Hz)

aplay -Dplug:dmix file_mono.wav => playing OK
aplay -Dplug:dmix file_stereo.wav => playing OK

Now it is solved for me upgrading asound.conf but you have maybe a
comment to this experience ?

ALSA version is 1.0.23 and device is TLV320AIC23.

With best regards,

Vincent Vanbesien
